Shortly after being honorably discharged from the United States Army where he served as a Tactical Radio Operator and repair Technion, Mike started his career in the electrical field.
Working as an apprentice electrician primarily in the industrial field Mike had the opportunity to work in large plant atmospheres such as Square D, Balson Foods, etc. and later serving as a Lead service technician for a large lighting maintenance/retrofit company traveling the east coast working on what then were pilot programs for energy saving lighting systems and energy management systems that are so common today.
While completing work on a project in Georgia, Mike decided to settle in the North Georgia Mountains. In addition Mike continued to work for various electrical contractors serving the industrial, commercial and residential markets in the greater Atlanta area.
In 1994, Mike relocated to Jasper Georgia where he makes his home today, In addition to his vast field experience, Mike has owned his own business, served as a project manager, lighting designer and estimator.
